This set of most commonly encountered chemical cards is designed for the first responder to access information in a quick and concise manner, giving the response agency a platform which can assist scene decision making while at the same time enhance preplanning activities. It is a system for planning, practice, response and recovery at an intentional or accidental hazardous materials event.

Each Chemical has its own two-sided card printed on waterproof, tearproof paper with easy reference during preplanning and the emergency operation. Its format enables the responder to gather information as it pertains to his/her level of training.

The front of each card is designed for the basic operational level responder. Included information such as Initial Protective Actions, physical state of the product, common placards and markings, and reference towards the DOT Emergency Response Guide, is useful during the first minutes of any operation. The Chemical and Toxicological properties section with information on the back of each card assist the technician towards more defined roles and strategies. Each card is designed for the responder at the operations, mission specific or the technician level. Product is three hole drilled for easy storage.
