Michael E. Marks
Michael E. Marks after receiving his Juris Doctorate at the University of Florida, worked in a Washington D.C. defense consulting firm gaining extensive experience in the training, equipment and deployment of unconventional warfare programs. In that capacity he toured numerous munitions factories and weapon development centers throughout Europe and the Eastern Bloc. Mr. Marks received State Department training regarding terrorist threat identification in conjunction with his role of providing security for senior U.S. military personnel publicly targeted by the Abu Nidal terrorist organization. In this capacity Mr. Marks traveled extensively throughout Asia, the Middle East, the Philippines, as well as South and Central America.
Locally he served as a hazmat-certified member of the Washington County Special Operations Team. Mr. Marks lead the development of the CD-ROM “Hazardous Materials: Managing the Incident” based on the top-selling book by Hildebrand and Noll. He also lead the development of the interactive firearms training program “SafetyOn: The Comprehensive Guide to Firearms” adopted by law enforcement and intelligence agencies worldwide. A long-time Area Representative for the Law Enforcement Alliance of America. Mr. Marks has attended or assisted in presenting a variety of Counter-Terrorism Training Programs.
