Program
brings an important dimension to fire service
training. This program is a holistic approach to
training. To learn you must attack many levels.
Reading, discussions, exercises, classroom exams,
and even games and fun all lead to a more effective
lesson. The Street Smart Instructor Program
incorporates a multi-level training system using a
number of instructional methods including:

Fully cross-platform compatible, operating on Windows® 98, NT, 2000, XP environments as well as Power Macintosh® computers.
- Instructor guide/lesson plans for each chapter
- PowerPoint presentations for each chapter
- Student note taking guide for each chapter
- Exercises that can be completed individually or as a classroom activity
- Quizzes for each chapter
- Interactive scenarios that asks students to use what they have learned in the chapter
- A fast-paced quiz called the "lightning round." This is a timed event that puts pressure on the student to reinforce a chapter’s lessons.
- Haz Mat Hot Seat—a "Jeopardy"-like game that teaches the lessons taught in the textbook
- Clip Art—Current DOT placards and labels
